Govt likely to extend the RoDTEP export incentive scheme by five years

India is ​likely to extend ​an export incentive programme, ‌called the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Export Products, for exporters for five years beyond its scheduled end on ‌September 30, a government trade source said on Wednesday.

The commerce ministry sought ₹23,000 crore ($2.40 billion) from ​the finance ministry under the programme ‌for 2026/27, a ​trade ministry ‌official, who spoke on condition ‌of anonymity, told reporters.
