Govt likely to extend the RoDTEP export incentive scheme by five years
India is likely to extend an export incentive programme, called the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Export Products, for exporters for five years beyond its scheduled end on September 30, a government trade source said on Wednesday.
The commerce ministry sought ₹23,000 crore ($2.40 billion) from the finance ministry under the programme for 2026/27, a trade ministry official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told reporters.
