Robinhood Expands Prediction Markets With Crypto.com and OG.com Partnership Ahead of Football Season | LeapRate
Robinhood announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with Crypto.com to route a selection of prediction market contracts through Crypto.com’s CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse, expanding the trading platform’s reach as it heads into a busy fall of football and midterm election activity.
Under the agreement, Robinhood will begin routing a selection of football event contracts to OG.com, a trader-focused app operating under Crypto.com’s regulated exchange and clearinghouse, which also does business under the Crypto.com Derivatives North America brand.
As part of the deal, Robinhood will hold equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com following OG.com’s planned spin-off into an independent trading platform. The equity stake will be priced in line with Citadel Securities’ recent investment into Crypto.com Group at a $20 billion valuation.
The partnership builds on a period of strong growth for Robinhood’s prediction markets business. The company reported 13.6 billion event contracts traded in the second quarter alone, with more than 5 billion traded during the World Cup. In June, Robinhood also began routing contracts to Rothera, a separate CFTC-licensed exchange tied to its joint venture with Susquehanna International Group.
JB Mackenzie, Robinhood’s VP and GM of Futures and Prediction Markets, said routing contracts across multiple venues strengthens the marketplace’s diversity and resilience.
Crypto.com and OG.com founder and CEO Kris Marszalek described the deal as the start of a broader strategic partnership, with plans to expand OG.com into futures and perpetuals trading.
Robinhood also announced updates to its football trading tools and a new hub for the 2026 midterm elections, including real-time data features launching later this fall.
