People Moves: TradePMR Tech Exec John Patullo Jumps to Hybrid RIA
Jon Patullo, who joined TradePMR in 2024 as chief product officer, has joined CG Financial Services, a hybrid registered investment advisor with $5 billion in assets under management, as chief operating officer and chief information officer.
Patullo is known for his custody platform experience and knowledge of technology and integrations in the independent advisor community. At TradePMR, he was tasked with growing and enhancing the Fusion technology platform.
When asked about Patullo’s replacement, a TradePMR spokesperson referred to the May 2026 appointment of Kate Mapstone, a strategic advisor at Robinhood, as head of RIA strategy. Since then, she’s overseen the rollout of Robinhood Cortex for Advisors and Advisor IPO Access. She’s also leading the strategic vision and roadmap for the dual-custody platform.
Prior to joining TradePMR, Patullo was the chief product officer for Apex Fintech Solutions. Before that, he ran advisor technology development for more than 16 years at TD Ameritrade Institutional, including rollouts of the popular Veo and Veo Open Access platforms.
In the new role at CG, he’ll be responsible for the firm’s operating model, digital capabilities, advisor workflows and scalable processes. The firm will also draw on his experience in developing vendor relationships as it continues to invest in its technology platform.
This follows news last year that CG hired Eugene “Gino” DeRango as director of CG Advisor Network, a unit of CG Financial. DeRango joined from Axos Advisor Services, where he served as senior vice president and national sales manager.
This week, CG Advisory Services, the company’s RIA unit, launched its first exchange traded fund, the CG Flagship Equity ETF. The ETF is based on the firm’s equity selection process, which uses a top-down approach, fundamental research, a capitalization framework and value analysis to identify about 100 to 125 companies.
CG Financial was founded in 1999 by CEO Anthony J. Mazzali and a group of captive advisors in Haslett, Mich. The founders realized that many independent advisors were looking for help running their practices, so they built CG Advisor Network, a platform and back-office support system to help advisors transition from large firms. In 2023, the firm moved to LPL Financial for custody and brokerage services.

WealthStream Adds Wealth Vet Larry Roth to Advisory Board
WealthStream, an advice intelligence platform for wealth management firms, appointed Larry Roth to its strategic advisory board, the company announced.
Roth is the founder and managing partner of Ascentix Partners, a growth strategy consultancy for wealth management enterprises, and previously served as CEO of Advisor Group and Cetera Financial Group. He also serves as a senior advisor to Berkshire Global Advisors.
“Larry has led the kinds of organizations we built WealthStream to serve,” founder and CEO Dan Daum said in a statement.
Roth will advise WealthStream’s leadership team on enterprise strategy, market development and strategic partnerships as the company expands its work with wealth management organizations.
“The firms that lead the next era of wealth management will be the ones that can grow without compromising the quality and consistency of their advice,” Roth said in a statement. “What stands out about WealthStream is that it helps advisors recognize more planning opportunities and understand the reasoning behind each recommendation.”
Roth joins a strategic advisory board that includes John Vaccaro, former head of MassMutual Financial Advisors; Stuart Rubinstein, former president of Fidelity Wealth Technologies; Shane Morrow, partner and CEO of IronBridge Wealth Counsel; and Sarah Mouser, executive vice president of financial planning at Merit Financial Advisors.
Alaris Hires Former SageView Executive as Head of Buyer Strategy
Alaris Acquisitions, a Charlotte, N.C.-based sell-side mergers and acquisitions advisory firm serving the wealth management industry, appointed Natasha Pfeiffer as managing director, head of buyer strategy, the firm announced.
Pfeiffer will lead Alaris’ buyer strategy and relationships, working alongside the firm’s deal teams to help clients evaluate potential partners. She will lead Alaris’ relationships across its network of more than 80 acquirers and oversee the buyer intelligence that powers Lens, the firm’s proprietary buyer-seller matchmaking platform, according to the announcement.
Pfeiffer most recently served as chief legal officer and corporate secretary of SageView Advisory Group, where she helped lead the company through its 2025 sale to Creative Planning.
“Natasha has a combination of transaction experience, legal expertise and firsthand knowledge of the buyer and seller perspectives that will be incredibly valuable to our clients,” Jacqueline Martinez, managing partner of Alaris, said in a statement.
Prior to SageView, Pfeiffer served as senior legal director at Goldman Sachs, where she led the integration of its retail wealth management business into Goldman’s Private Wealth Management vertical following the acquisition of United Capital Financial Advisers.
Pfeiffer’s appointment marks the firm’s third leadership hire this year, following the September 2026 onboarding of Jon Dubravac as senior deal leader and April 2026 addition of Tony Leonard as managing director of business development, the company said.
