DIGITEC names Matthis Schneegass CFO as headcount build continues
DIGITEC has appointed Matthis Schneegass as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director. He is based in Hamburg and reports to chief executive Peer Joost; he is the firm’s tenth hire of 2026.
Schneegass joins from PINKTUM, a SaaS scale-up, where he was COO before moving into the CFO seat, covering finance, business development and revenue operations alongside scaling the organisation and its operating model. Before that he spent nine years at real estate group Engel & Völkers in senior finance and strategy roles, including CFO for the Americas and Director of Group Finance and Strategy, where he worked with a private equity investor on value creation strategy and execution.
That PE background is the relevant part of the CV. DIGITEC is backed by EMH Partners, and Joost pointed directly to the hire’s experience of financial management and value creation in transformation and growth phases, and to his familiarity with PE-backed firms, as the basis for the appointment.
Schneegass said DIGITEC would continue to enhance its services as markets move to a more electronic structure, while delivering on growth plans and maintaining a strong financial position.
DIGITEC supplies multi-asset pricing technology and workflow automation, with a position in FX swaps and NDF technology; the firm says its client base includes more than half of the Euromoney Top 50 FX trading firms. Its services include D3 Pricing, D3 OMS, D3 DataHub, and the Swaps Data Feed and Precious Metals Data Feed built with 360T.
