Openwork adopts Mortgage Brain tools for adviser technology suite

The Openwork Partnership has selected Mortgage Brain’s tools for its newest adviser technology suite being delivered through a partnership with Plannr.

The network said advisers from Openwork and 2plan will have access to Mortgage Brain’s Sourcing Brain, Criteria Brain, Affordability Brain and Submissions Brain tools.

The integration was said to reduce duplicate data entry by allowing client information to flow between Plannr and Mortgage Brain’s systems.

Openwork said the approach supports its goal of saving advisers time on client cases by enabling information to be entered once and used across different stages of the mortgage process.

Rob Askham, chief commercial officer at Openwork, said the integration would allow advisers to move from research and recommendation through to lender decision without rekeying client information.

He continued: “We have set out to give our advisers the very best tech on the market, and we’re delighted that Mortgage Brain’s modules will be powering their mortgage research and submissions. As Mortgage Brain’s tech is embedded in Plannr, our advisers will be able to move from research, recommendation to lender decision.”
