WealthStack Roundup: Syntax Direct Integrates With iRebal
Syntax LLC, which specializes in data intelligence and technology for creating indexes, announced an integration with Schwab Advisor Services, connecting Syntax Direct, its index development and production engine, directly to iRebal, Schwab’s venerable rebalancing platform acquired in its acquisition of the custodian TD Ameritrade.
The integration links index creation, index calculation, model management, trading and tax management support for RIAs.
iRebal users can access Syntax Direct through single sign-on to build custom indices, which flow into iRebal through an API integration, where they serve as model portfolios that can be rebalanced, tax-managed and personalized down to the individual account and fractional share.
By connecting Syntax Direct’s index engine directly to iRebal’s rebalancing logic, index changes and custom rules flow natively into account-level workflows, intended to eliminate manual data handling and reconciliation lags, according to Syntax.
Alison Dooher, head of Advisor Services AI and Partner Ecosystem at Schwab Advisor Services, said the integration addresses advisor demand for easier ways to bring personalized indexing to more clients.
“Connecting Syntax Direct to iRebal means an advisor can build a custom index and put it to work across client accounts without the manual handoff in between. That’s exactly the kind of partnership we look for: one that saves advisors time and expands what they can offer,” Dooher wrote in a prepared statement.
In a nutshell, the combination is meant to provide RIAs control over creating personalized portfolios at scale.
FinTurk Launches AI-Powered Email Tool for Advisors
FinTurk, an AI-native customer relationship management platform built for financial advisors, has introduced FinBox, a new AI-powered email management tool designed to streamline client communications and daily workflows for RIAs.
The company is also rolling out unlimited use of artificial intelligence for advisors on its Max plan, which costs $135 per user per month for an annual subscription, replacing the previous monthly AI credit system. Mitchell Bratina, founder and CEO of FinTurk, said the change is intended to help firms use the platform’s automation tools without concern over usage costs.
“Bringing an AI-powered email inbox directly into FinTurk creates tremendous opportunities for advisors to improve client service and operate more efficiently,” Bratina said. “But we also recognize that fully leveraging these capabilities could quickly become costly under traditional usage-based pricing. That’s why we’re introducing unlimited AI usage, not just within FinBox, but across our entire platform for Max plan users. We want advisors to take full advantage of what AI can do for their businesses without having to think twice about what it will cost them and their business.”
FinBox connects advisors’ Microsoft 365 or Gmail inboxes directly into FinTurk, letting them read, search, organize and respond to emails within the same workspace used to manage clients, tasks and portfolios. The tool links email conversations to the appropriate client records, according to the company.
Built on FinTurk’s native AI platform, FinBox automates several email management tasks, including drafting personalized responses using client account information, flagging important messages and suggesting CRM updates or follow-up tasks. Advisors can create inbox rules using plain-language instructions. All AI-generated responses and suggested actions remain subject to advisor review and approval.
FinBox builds on recent product additions, including PortfolioSolver, Vigil, CashSweep and FormFiller, which address portfolio management, practice monitoring, cash management and client paperwork, the company said. FinTurk integrates with advisors’ existing technology stacks, including portfolio management, document management, productivity and communication platforms.
FinBox is rolling out early access to select advisors who request it, while unlimited AI usage is being introduced for FinTurk’s Max plan users. RIAs interested in learning more or requesting early access to FinBox can visit the company’s website.
In addition to traditional legacy CRMs, FinTurk is competing with the AI-powered platform Slant in the CRM category, which recently swept XYPN’s annual AdviceTech competition, winning both the judged competition and audience choice.
Zocks added to LPL Vendor Affinity Program
Zocks, the AI assistant, notetaker and meeting automation application platform, has been added to LPL’s Vendor Affinity Program, joining Jump as an approved agentic AI platform available to LPL’s 32,000 affiliated advisors.
This means that Zocks has met the independent broker/dealer and RIA custodian’s technology, security and compliance requirements. It is also a reflection of advisor interest in the AI platform.
LPL advisors who sign up for Zocks would have discounted access to the Zocks Professional package without MCP or Zocks Forms, according to Zocks. The amount of the discount and actual pricing were not disclosed.
In addition, several planning integrations have been approved by LPL, allowing advisors to use Zocks with eMoney Advisor, Holistiplan, RightCapital, Wealth.com, and LPL’s proprietary WealthVision planning platform.
With the approval and integrations, LPL advisors can now use Zocks to automate administrative and operational processes, capturing data and context from client conversations and syncing that information across the various planning tools and connected CRM systems. The tool also prepares advisors for client meetings with personalized summaries pulled from past conversations and connected systems and drafts post-meeting summaries, action items and emails.
In April, RFG Advisory, the Birmingham, Ala.-headquartered hybrid RIA platform, made an undisclosed strategic investment in Zocks as part of its $45 million Series B funding raise, first announced in January, which brought the company’s total funding to $65 million.
