Designer Indecor Home Inks 17K-SF Lease at GFP’s 247 West 37th Street – Commercial Observer
Home is where the decor is.
Indecor Home, a designer and manufacturer of bath accessories, shower curtains, rugs and other textiles, has taken 16,806 square feet of office and showroom space across the entire fifth floor of GFP Real Estate’s 247 West 37th Street in Manhattan’s Garment District, the landlord announced Wednesday.
The tenant will relocate from 240 Madison Avenue and use its new space as executive, sales and design offices, as well as a home products showroom.
The length of the lease was 10 years. The asking rent was not disclosed, but the average asking rent for office space in Midtown Manhattan was $85.08 per square foot during the third quarter of 2026, according to Colliers data.
“Indecor needed room to bring its teams and showroom together, and the full floor at 247 West 37th Street gives it the flexibility to do that,” GFP’s Matthew Mandell, who represented the landlord on this deal, said in a statement. “The building continues to attract businesses that value a central Manhattan location and space they can shape around the way they work.”
Indecor Home was represented by David Menaged from Intrepid Real Estate Group. Menaged did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Built in 1924, 247 West 37th Street is a 19-story, 271,000-square-foot office property. Other tenants in the building include security services firm Heightened Security, knitwear manufacturer Knit Illustrated and apparel maker AJC Trading.
