Skin Care Brand FaceGym to Open New Tribeca Location at 110 Reade Street – Commercial Observer
Time to face the music.
FaceGym, a skin care brand that describes itself as a “facial fitness” studio, has inked a 10-year, 2,400-square-foot lease for a new Tribeca spot at 110 Reade Street, according to landlord broker Platinum Commercial.
Founded in 2014 in London, FaceGym offers customers “facial workouts” and “combines muscle manipulation techniques” to provide lifting and sculpting services without surgery, according to its website.
The brand has 15 locations globally, including four others in New York City on the Upper East Side, in NoHo and in Midtown.
“The strongest retail brands today are making long-term investments in neighborhoods that complement their identity and where they can build lasting relationships with their customers,” Platinum Commercial’s Steven Evans, who repped the landlord, said in a statement. “Tribeca has evolved into one of Manhattan’s premier destinations for luxury wellness, beauty and experiential retail, attracting brands that value authenticity, quality and community. FaceGym is an ideal addition to that ecosystem.”
The asking rent was $110 per square foot. The new location is expected to open this month. Isaacs and Company represented the tenant, but the names of the brokers who represented the tenant were not immediately available.
Built in 1861 near the corner of Reade Street and West Broadway, 110 Reade Street is a six-story, mixed-use residential property with ground-floor retail. Fitness studio Pure Barre was a former tenant in the retail space.
