FTMO Adds $200 Million to Lifetime Payouts in One Year as Monthly Rewards Near $15 Million
Prop trading firm FTMO distributed over $14.4 million across roughly 7,100 trader rewards in September, pushing its cumulative payouts past $650 million.
The Prague-based firm distributed more than $200 million in rewards over the past 12 months, averaging roughly $16 million a month. Based on the firm’s rounded disclosures, the September distributions yield an indicative average of roughly $2,030 per reward.
While FTMO did not disclose median payouts or the number of unique recipients, the monthly figures reflect a slight cooldown from August, when seasonal activity drove distributions above $15.2 million across 7,500 payouts.

September Rewards Decline about 5% from August
The September figures were about 5% below the August thresholds, when FTMO paid more than $15.2 million through over 7,500 rewards.
Based on the company’s rounded disclosures, both the value and number of payments therefore declined at a similar rate. Across the two months, FTMO distributed more than $29.6 million through over 14,600 reward payments.
The company identified the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Germany as its leading countries for August, although it did not provide country-level payment totals or recipient numbers.

In the prop trading model, participants first complete an evaluation in a simulated environment while observing predetermined profit and risk limits.
Traders who qualify for an FTMO Account continue trading with fictitious funds and may receive real monetary rewards based on their simulated performance. FTMO says it does not operate as a broker or accept customer deposits.
Company-Reported Metrics Leave Distribution Gaps
The September performance highlights the accelerating velocity of FTMO’s payouts, which have grown by roughly $200 million since the firm marked its tenth anniversary at $450 million in September 2025.
However, like most private operators in the proprietary trading space, both the monthly distributions and cumulative milestones remain self-reported metrics.
FTMO does not publish audited breakdowns, nor does it disclose the median reward size, the highest single payout, or the proportion of unique recipients behind the 7,100 transactions.
