The fundraising could be undertaken through one or more routes, including a qualified institutions placement (QIP), preferential issue, private placement, rights issue, further public offer or debt issue. The board may also consider instruments such as preference shares, debentures, warrants and other securities convertible into or exchangeable for equity shares.
The October 12 board meeting will also consider the issue size, pricing, securities to be issued, timing and mode of the proposed fundraising.
Elitecon International Share Price Today
Elitecon International share price opened at Rs7.25 on the BSE on Wednesday and touched an intraday high of Rs7.62. The stock was subsequently locked in the 5% upper circuit.
The stock, however, has witnessed a sharp decline over the longer term. Elitecon International shares are down 4.91% over the past week, 17.29% in two weeks, 8.47% in one month, 16.56% in three months and 31.87% in six months.
On a year-to-date basis, the stock has fallen 92.62%, making the proposed fundraising a key development for shareholders to watch. Investors will now focus on the fundraising route, issue pricing and whether the proposed securities could result in equity dilution.
