Accord cuts BTL mortgage rates; TSB increases PT and additional borrowing rates – round-up
Accord Mortgages has lowered rates across its buy-to-let (BTL) range by as much as 0.43%.
The largest reductions have been made to the lender’s two-year fixed deals at 80% loan to value (LTV), while five-year fixes have been cut by up to 0.23%.
For landlords in need of BTL loans at 75% LTV or more, reductions of up to 0.07% have been made to its two-year fixes and 0.04% to its five-year rates.
This includes the two-year fixed purchase deal at 80% LTV with a £995 fee and standard valuation, which has fallen from 6.45% to 6.02%.
At the same tier, the equivalent five-year fixed rate has gone down from 6.08% to 5.85%.

The changes come just days after Accord Mortgages lowered its residential mortgage rates.
TSB increases existing borrower rates
TSB has upped mortgage rates across its product transfer and additional borrowing ranges, after raising residential purchase and remortgage rates earlier this week.
Its two- and three-year fixed product transfer rates up to 85% LTV have been increased by up to 0.2%, while five-year fixed rates up to 60% LTV have increased by 0.05%.
For BTL product transfer, five-year fixed rates up to 60% LTV have gone up by 0.1%.
Across its additional borrowing range, two- and three-year fixed residential rates have been increased by up to 0.2%, and five-year fixed rates up to 60% LTV by 0.05%.
Additional borrowing five-year fixed BTL rates up to 60% LTV have been increased by 0.1%.
