FastSpring Enables Cash App Pay and other Digital Transactions News briefs 10/1/26 – Digital Transactions
- E-commerce payments provider FastSpring announced it has introduced Cash App Pay as a payment method for its checkout. Block Inc. launched Cash App Pay on Square in 2021 and extended it to external sites the next year.
- Grocery chain The Kroger Co. launched its Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard, a credit card offering rewards good for discounts on groceries and gas at Kroger locations. The issuer is First Bank & Trust.
- Rutter’s, operator of some 94 convenience stores in four eastern and southeastern states, has selected point-of-sale and other commerce technologies from NCR Voyix Corp. for its retail, restaurant, and fuel services.
- Stripe Inc. has agreed to acquire Parafin, a provider of credit to some 60,000 small and medium-size businesses, as demand for the services of Stripe Capital has grown, Stripe says, with the number of new businesses launching on Stripe in the second quarter growing 86% year-over-year. Terms of the deal, which the parties say is expected to close in coming months, were not announced.
- Fraud prevention company Trulioo said it is working with Fiserv Inc. that sees Fiserv able to use Trulioo’s person and business verification services.
- GB Group plc, an identity and location intelligence provider, said it is working with fraud prevention firm Darwinium to help businesses determine whether the actions of a verified person or AI agent are consistent with legitimate intent in an online setting.
- LexisNexis Risk Solutions launched a risk scoring service that uses an AI model to analyze email, internet protocol addresses, phone, address, and other signals to generate a fraud potential score.
- PayNearMe Inc. released its AI Servicing and Collections Agent to help with inbound self-service issues and outbound engagement for its clients.
