TIOmarkets Promotes Andis Papageorgiou to Chief Technology Officer | LeapRate
The former Head of Engineering will lead the company’s wider technology strategy and delivery.
TIOmarkets has promoted Andis Papageorgiou from Head of Engineering to Chief Technology Officer, expanding his remit from engineering leadership to the company’s wider technology strategy and delivery.
As CTO, Papageorgiou will oversee technology planning and execution across TIOmarkets, including software engineering, platform architecture, cloud infrastructure and the development of client- and partner-facing systems. He will work with teams across the business to ensure that technology priorities support the company’s operational and product objectives.
The promotion follows Papageorgiou’s leadership of the development of the TIOmarkets mobile app, which gives clients mobile access to market analysis, trade execution and account management. The project is one example of the client-facing technology work that will fall within his broader remit as CTO.

From engineering leadership to company technology strategy
Papageorgiou has more than 11 years of experience across brokerage technology, fintech, blockchain, mobile applications and enterprise software development.
His experience includes leading engineering teams and technology projects involving trading platforms, CRM systems, cloud infrastructure, partner and introducing broker platforms, payments, risk systems and client-facing digital products. He has also worked with MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView-related systems, AWS infrastructure and event-driven microservices.
His appointment as CTO formalises a wider leadership role covering the direction, resilience and delivery of the technology environment supporting TIOmarkets.
