- Instant payments platform Pidgin said it is working with Millennium Corporate Credit Union, which provides services to other credit unions, to enable nearly 300 credit unions working with Millennium to use instant payments services, such as FedNow, RTP, and stablecoin access.
- Bread Financial announced a long-term renewal of its credit card program with Signet Jewelers Ltd.
- Visa Ventures, Circle Ventures, and Ripple are among investors backing a $10-million Series A extension for Velocity, a stablecoin payments platform. The extension follows the company’s $38-million Series A last month.
- P3 Media, a commerce services platform, launched Kiosk, a service for retailers on the Shopify Inc. point-of-sale platform that enables them to tailor Shopify POS to their own devices, hardware, and in-store workflows.
- Lightspeed Commerce Inc. released On Deck, a service for its Lightspeed Golf service that enables customers to request preferred tee times or time windows.
- U.S. card payments platform Ramp announced it has launched in the United Kingdom. The move follows the company’s expansion into Canada in July and also comes following Ramp’s March acquisition of Billhop, a Stockholm- and London-based payments company.
- Urovo, a maker of payment terminals and barcode scanners, launched its UPad, a tablet device that it says handles mobile checkout and, for restaurants, ordering and tableside payment.
- Payment processor Payment Nerds announced it received a $2 million credit facility from Espresso Capital. The company says it will use the funding to support merchant-services offerings and other needs.
- Payments platform Adyen has been approved as a Global Payment Partner for Guidewire, a technology provider for the property-and-casualty insurance market.
- American Express Co. launched its Business Savings account, offering an annual percentage yield of 2.95% with no minimum-balance requirement. The service allows customers to make or receive transfers online or through the AmEx app.
