Equiti Opens First Sharjah Storefront in UAE Expansion | LeapRate
Equiti Group, a global fintech firm, has opened its first physical storefront in Sharjah, extending its footprint in the United Arab Emirates. The new branch is located in the New Zubaidi Building on King Faisal Road and represents another step in the company’s growth strategy across the country.
The Sharjah location is designed to give local clients direct, face-to-face access to Equiti’s services. Visitors can consult with an on-site team for personalized guidance, supported by the technology and market expertise of the wider global group. Equiti said the branch will also generate employment opportunities in the region as the local team grows.
Mohamed Hachichou, General Director of Equiti’s Sharjah Branch, said access to financial services depends on more than technology alone. “It is also about having knowledgeable people available to offer guidance and answer questions,” he said. “The Sharjah store allows us to provide that personal connection alongside our digital capabilities. By making our expertise easier to reach, we can create a more accessible and supportive experience for every client.”
The company said the new branch is intended to serve as a dedicated local contact point while maintaining the standards of quality and professionalism it aims to offer clients as its network expands.
Equiti Group operates in trading technology, payment software, virtual assets, asset management and physical commodities, with a presence spanning Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The firm holds licenses in several major financial jurisdictions, including the UK, UAE and Cyprus, and serves retail, professional and institutional clients.
