MoneyGram Debuts MoneyGram Card and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 9/11/26 – Digital Transactions

  • MoneyGram launched its MoneyGram Card, a Visa-branded card backed by stablecoins and developed in partnership with Rain, a provider of stablecoin services. The card is available now in Colombia, with plans to launch in other markets over coming months.
  • Flex Dental Solutions said its FlexPayments service will offer buy now, pay later payment plans through Affirm and Klarna, with surcharging capability offered via Yeeld for credit card transactions.
  • The Federal Trade Commission said it has penalized Humboldt Merchant Services $12 million and permanently banned it from processing payments with a higher risk of potential fraud as part of a settlement of allegations it processed payments for merchants that defrauded consumers.
  • Nu Digital Bank, said to be the largest digital bank in Latin America, has begun operations in the U.S. market with a multi-currency digital account and the Mastercard-branded Nu Credit Card, which offers unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases, with no annual fee.
  • Cross-border payments startup XFlow has launched a service allowing businesses globally to collect payments from customers in India. The company is backed by Stripe, PayPal Ventures, and General Catalyst.
