Quarterly jump is largest on record as delinquencies top $2 billion for the first time
Huntington Bancshares’ delinquent loans and leases backed by real estate surpassed $2 billion for the first time in the second quarter, pushing the share of those delinquent loans to 2.38% – the highest level since 2016.
Huntington’s overall delinquent loans and leases rose by $508 million, or 18%, quarter on quarter to a record $3.3 billion. More than half of the increase came from non-accrual
