Crypto Finance (Germany) GmbH Names Laura Hermann as Managing Director | LeapRate
Crypto Finance (Germany) GmbH has appointed Laura Hermann as Managing Director, effective July 1, 2026. The move rounds out the company’s German management team, which also includes Moritz Weber and Christian Müller.
In her new position, Hermann will focus on driving the company’s strategic growth within the MiCAR-regulated European market.
Her responsibilities will include building sustainable client relationships and strengthening the firm’s sales organization as it seeks to expand its institutional footprint across the region.
Hermann joins Crypto Finance with a substantial background in international finance and asset management. She previously worked at BlackRock in Germany, where she led business development for the firm’s technology solutions across the DACH region and Eastern Europe. Before that, she served as Executive Managing Director at fintech company Verifino.
Commenting on the appointment, Stijn Vander Straeten, CEO of Crypto Finance Group, said the company was gaining a strong leader with deep knowledge of institutional clients, capital markets and digital assets.
He added that her expertise would be central to executing the firm’s growth strategy under the MiCAR framework and reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for banks, financial institutions and professional investors.
Hermann said the implementation of MiCAR represents a significant step for the institutional adoption of digital assets in Europe.
She noted her enthusiasm for working with the team and clients to support the company’s next growth phase, aiming to solidify its standing as a leading regulated provider of digital asset solutions in Europe and beyond.
