The Prasol Chemicals IPO is going to open for subscription next week and the issue is getting a fair share of interest in the grey market with premium touching Rs. 14 per share. The company is a Specialty chemicals manufacturer founded in 1992 and produces 150 specialty chemicals, including acetone-based, phosphorous-based, and other complex chemicals as per company data.

The Prasol Chemicals IPO is worth Rs. 500 crore. The offering consists of both a fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS).

The fresh issue comprises 11.83 lakh shares which is worth Rs. 80 crore, while the OFS consists of 62.13 lakh shares worth Rs. 420 crore.
The IPO will open for subscription on September 8th , and the bidding window will remain open until September 10th.

The price band for the Prasol Chemicals IPO has been fixed at Rs. 643 to Rs. 676 per share, and retail investors can bid for a minimum of 22 shares, which is the IPO’s lot size. At the upper price band, retail investors will need a minimum investment of Rs. 14,872 for one lot.
The allotment for Prasol Chemicals IPO is expected to be finalised on September 11th and the listing date is tentatively September 16th when the company’s shares are expected to debut on both the NSE and BSE.

Dam Capital Advisors Ltd. is the book-running lead manager for the Prasol Chemicals IPO, while Kfin Technologies Ltd. has been appointed as the registrar to the issue. The registrar will handle key processes related to the IPO, including applications and the basis of allotment.
