Paris Baguette Expands Their Growing Footprint with a New Café Opening in Williamsville on August 31
Ivan Shen and Jing Zhang set to open their Paris Baguette café at 5150 Main St.
WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y., Aug. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Paris Baguette and franchise owners Ivan Shen and Jing Zhang are proud to announce the opening of the newest bakery café at 5150 Main St., No. 200, Williamsville, NY 14221, Aug. 31. The new bakery café will bring Paris Baguette’s signature assortment of artisan pastries, cakes, breads, and handcrafted beverages to Williamsville. With more than 4,000 locations worldwide and 300+ bakery cafés operating across North America, the brand continues to expand their footprint, with multiple locations in development. The established and growing concept is rapidly strengthening their presence in key markets.
The Williamsville development is being led by franchisees Ivan Shen and Jing Zhang. As cousins who spent most of their lives in New York City, Paris Baguette was a staple of their daily routines, offering a sense of familiarity amid the fast pace of the city. After frequent visits to family in the Buffalo area, the duo noticed the city’s growing energy and strong sense of community but realized the bakery café experience they loved in New York City was missing.
“Bringing Paris Baguette to Buffalo was a personal choice rooted in memory and connection,” Shen said. “We missed the quality and comfort the brand brought to our lives in New York, and we wanted our family and the Buffalo community to experience that same consistency. This café represents a bridge between our past in New York City and our new beginnings here in Williamsville. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where neighbors can slow down and gather over thoughtfully made food.”
The Williamsville café opening is a milestone for the brand, representing Paris Baguette’s first location in the Buffalo area and their second in upstate New York. Paris Baguette plans to reach 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada by 2030 and is expanding through meaningful partnerships with local entrepreneurs who show a genuine interest in bringing people together over fresh baked goods and artisan coffee beverages.
“We’re on a mission to re-establish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community across the U.S., and we’re excited to see Ivan and Jing bring this to life in their local area,” said Darren Tipton, Chief Executive Officer of Paris Baguette. “In our cafes we like to say, ‘Happy to see you. Happier to serve you.’ And we know Ivan and Jing will wholeheartedly embrace this approach in their neighborhood.”
