Acadia Realty Buys Amber Valletta’s West Village Townhome

Supermodel and actress Amber Valletta sold her West Village townhouse for just under $10 million. 

Valletta traded her home at 385 Bleecker Street in an off-market deal to an entity linked to real estate investment firm Acadia Realty Trust, according to public records. Acadia’s portfolio includes the property next door at 387 Bleecker Street, as well as nearby 382-384 Bleecker Street.

The property, which also lists its address as 87 Perry Street, spans three floors and has two bathrooms, an open kitchen and a wood-burning fireplace in the primary bedroom. It also includes a ground-floor retail unit previously occupied by actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe brand, which shut down in 2024. 

Valletta, who rose to prominence by modeling for high-end fashion houses and regular appearances on the cover of Vogue in the 1990’s, bought the home in 1994 with her ex-husband, French model Herve le Bihan. The couple divorced two years later, and she became its sole owner in 1998.

Valletta has been renting out the two-bedroom townhouse since at least 2024, when it commanded $16,000 a month, according to a previous StreetEasy listing. She listed the home again in June, asking $21,000 a month, but pulled it from the market in August shortly after snagging a signed contract to sell it. 

Douglas Elliman’s Pierre Cadourcy on the Michael Lorber Team represented Valletta in the sale.

A representative for Acadia did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Valletta, also known for her environmental activism, owns a six-bedroom home on top of a hill in Los Angeles, which was featured in Architectural Digest in 2024. She bought the property after selling another home in Santa Monica for roughly $5 million in 2017.

Last year, Acadia was on a buying spree in New York City, picking up several properties in Williamsburg and Soho. Between fall 2024 and fall 2025, the company bought $280 million worth of property, including seven retail buildings in Williamsburg. 

It also offloaded some of its holdings in the Big Apple, including selling a mixed-use property at 640 Broadway for nearly $50 million in September and a retail and office condo at 1035 Third Avenue in October for $22 million.
