TMG launches new platform for independent mortgage brokerages
TMG The Mortgage Group has launched a new operating platform designed to give independent mortgage brokerages access to enterprise-level services and support.
TMG Enterprise Partners will provide participating brokerages with shared infrastructure and services in areas including compliance, technology, cybersecurity, operations, talent acquisition, strategic partnerships and succession planning.
The platform will be led by Veronica Love, president of TMG Enterprise Partners and chief revenue officer of TMG, alongside Mark Squire, the platform’s chief operating officer.
“Enterprise Partners is about giving successful independent brokerages the freedom to remain independent while providing the support and collaboration they need to thrive,” Love said in a statement.
“Every brokerage has its own culture, identity and vision for the future,” she added. “Our role is not to change who they are, but to provide the resources, expertise and strategic support that helps them achieve even greater success.”
TMG said the platform was developed in response to the growing operational and regulatory demands facing independent firms. In addition to shared business services, participating brokerages will have opportunities to collaborate and exchange ideas with other firms on the platform.
“We didn’t set out to build another mortgage network; we designed an enterprise platform from the ground up backed by 36 years of business success,” Squire said.
“Successful brokerages don’t need to be told how to run their business,” he added. “They benefit from access to the expertise, capabilities and resources that help them run it more effectively, while remaining independent and true to their brand.”
TMG said the new platform builds on the foundation established by company founders Grant and Debbie Thomas and CEO Mark Kerzner. Love and Squire will oversee its strategic direction and expansion while working directly with participating brokerages across Canada.
