Assetz Capital appoints Bruce as senior relationship manager for South West and South Wales
Assetz Capital, the specialist property development lender, has hired Robin Bruce, formerly of Lakeshield, as a senior relationship manager for the South Western regions.
Bruce worked as business development manager (BDM) at Lakeshield and has six years of experience in development finance. He has also originated, structured and completed transactions across bridging and commercial finance.
Homebuilding target to materialise by 2028
Assetz Capital maintained that the hiring of Bruce was to aid its target of building 1,000 homes across the South West and South Wales by 2028.
Thus far, it has provided development funding supporting the delivery of 702 homes across the South West and South Wales.
Bruce said: “Having spent the last few years of my career working across different sides of development finance, I understand both what SME housebuilders need when bringing schemes to site and what lenders must do to support them effectively.
