La La Land Cafe Signs with Brixton Capital for First San Diego Location

Brixton Capital, a vertically integrated owner and operator of retail and multifamily properties, has secured a lease with La La Land Café to occupy the mezzanine terrace and café space at its upscale Del Mar Plaza retail destination. La La Land will occupy 1,168 square feet of interior space, with additional sitting and queueing space extending onto the terrace deck.

The construction start and grand opening dates are not yet determined. The space was formerly occupied by Pacifica Breeze Café.

“We’re proud to be first-to-market attracting a dynamic brand that has grown to over 30 locations since its founding in 2019,” said Brixton Capital founder and chairman Marc Brutten. “We expect the grand opening will be very well attended, and that La La Land Café at Del Mar Plaza will remain a very popular social destination.”

Victoria Pappas, Brittney Austin and Linda Rubiola of SHOP Companies represented La La Land, while Brixton Capital represented itself, with support from Andrew Shemirani and Ashley Tiefel at Urban Property Group. Lease terms were not disclosed.
