Dividend Alert: Shares of Balkrishna Industries ended with a whopping 10% gain on Thursday, a day after the company reported strong first quarter result for the financial year 2026-27. The company has also announced 200% dividend payout for FY27.

Balkrishna Industries share price closed 10.8% higher at Rs 2306.1 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 44,580.88 crore on Thursday, July 30. The stock had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 2,337.00 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 2,210.15 per share.

The company is set to pay 200% interim dividend per equity share with a face value of Rs 2. The board of directors of Balkrishna Industries “declared 1st interim dividend of Rs. 4/- per Equity Share (200%) on the Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each (face value) for the financial year 2026-27 and the payment thereof shall be credited/dispatched within 30 days from the date of declaration,” as per the BSE filing.

The company fixed Tuesday, August 4, as the dividend record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders. To become eligible for the payout, investors must own the stock before the dividend record date.

Balkrishna Industries Q1 Result

The company reported a robust performance in the first quarter of financial year 2026-27. Its net profit stood at Rs 432.10 crore in Q1FY27 against Rs 295.09 crore reported in the March quarter of FY26. Its net revenue increased sequentially to Rs 3,444.70 crore. The firm had reported a net revenue of Rs 2,941.15 corre in Q4FY26. Its earnings per share stood at Rs 22.35 during the quarter under review.

The stock touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 2,775.00 per share on February 10, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 1,971.50 per share on June 11, 2026. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 14.53%. The auto ancillary stock has delivered 14% return in a week and around 6% return in three months. Its share price value has declined 29% in two years.
