- Payments processor FIS Inc. said it has adopted Project Glasswing, a system from Anthropic that relies on AI to detect and fix security weaknesses in software. As part of the initiative, FIS is also testing Anthropic’s Mythos 5 AI model to scan its operating systems.
- Payments platform Lightspeed Commerce Inc. announced a number of new products and services for both its retail and restaurant divisions, including customer prompts on Lightspeed Scanner to increase basket sizes and a dashboard for multi-location operations to manage multiple venues.
- Property management platform ID Plans said its ID Tenant launched a payments service through the embedded-payments provider Payabli to offer full and partial rent-payment plans to tenants. ID Plans works primarily with commercial real estate.
