Next Intelligence gives brokers free access to swap rate insights
Next Intelligence has partnered with BlueGamma to give mortgage brokers direct insight into swap rate updates, enabling them to monitor the market.
The Next Intelligence Swap Rate Monitor will share data that influenced lender pricing decisions with broker members for free.
Daily SONIA swap rates will be sent to mortgage brokers via email, removing the need to monitor different sources manually.
Next Intelligence said the information would help brokers better understand lender funding costs and identify market movements before pricing changes are made.
The firm said this would allow brokers to have more informed conversations with clients about the potential direction of fixed mortgage rates.
The launch is part of Next Intelligence’s wider market intelligence strategy, which will include webinars, commentary and educational content to help brokers understand swap rate movements and wider economic trends.

John Cupis, managing director of Next Intelligence, said understanding lender funding costs had “never been more important.
He said: “By putting daily swap rate data straight into advisers’ inboxes, we are helping brokers make more informed decisions and communicate market movements with greater confidence.
“Daily two-, five- and 10-year SONIA swap rates, compared with previous weeks and months, will give mortgage practitioners an easy way to see what’s happening right now and stay on top of those client conversations.
“This partnership with BlueGamma is exactly what Next Intelligence is about. It is not just market information, it is the next intelligence for mortgage brokers: practical insight advisers can use every day.”
Ali Vohra, CEO of BlueGamma, said swap rate data usually sat on trading screens, but brokers would now be able to see the same rates that treasury teams use “in a form they can read in 30 seconds and explain to a client.”
