Hexaware Technologies shares surge 11% on multi-year pact with Anthropic

Shares of Hexaware Technologies surged 11% to Rs 566 on Friday after the IT services firm struck a multi-year partnership with Anthropic to bring its Claude AI models into its AI platforms.

The deal will see Hexaware join Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network as a Preferred Partner, with both companies working on AI solutions and enterprise deployments. Hexaware plans to use Claude across IT operations and software engineering, as IT services firms look to turn growing enterprise interest in AI into tangible business outcomes.

The announcement comes as Hexaware looks to strengthen its AI-led service offerings through Zerovity, its AI-native engineering platform, and AgentVerse, its platform for building and governing AI agents.

Hexaware to bring Claude into AI platforms

Under the partnership, Claude will be integrated into Zerovity and AgentVerse, which has more than 600 pre-built agents. Hexaware has over 1,100 Claude-certified professionals and plans to expand training across its delivery teams.
The company said clients would be able to engage with its offerings either by starting with a specific business outcome or by connecting their development tools directly to the Zerovity platform.

Its Zero Friction Enterprise offerings target challenges such as technical debt, security vulnerabilities, backlogs, support tickets, process bottlenecks and software licence costs. For development teams, the Zerovity platform offers token optimisation and built-in software delivery agents.
The alliance also builds on Hexaware’s existing relationship with Anthropic, including its authorisation to resell Claude through Amazon Bedrock.“Enterprises are focused on driving business outcomes,” said Siddharth Dhar, President & Global Head – AI, Hexaware. “We are putting Claude at the heart of Zerovity and AgentVerse, so our clients reach production results faster, at a cost they can plan around.”

Partnership targets enterprise AI deployment

Hexaware’s partnership with Anthropic is aimed at helping businesses move from evaluating AI capabilities to deploying them at scale. The companies will jointly develop solutions and support customer deployments, while Hexaware expands its pool of trained professionals.

“Our teams have already certified more than 1,100 people on Claude,” said Vinod Chandran, Chief Operating Officer, Hexaware. “As a Preferred Partner, we can take that capability to clients together with Anthropic, from the first proof of value to production at scale.”

Anthropic also highlighted the growing demand for partners that can help enterprises identify valuable applications for AI and integrate the technology into business-critical systems.

“Hexaware’s customers already trust them with IT operations and software engineering. That is where much of this work gets done and where Claude can have an outsized impact,” said Era Sahni, Head of Partnerships – International, Anthropic.
