Joey Pizzolato (00:11):
So much of the conversation here at Sibos is focused on the way AI is transforming payments. Where do you think AI is going to make the most impact in the next year or two?

Leigh Amaro (00:20):
Yeah, it’s been such a hot topic at SIBOS. So AI has so many implications and positive implications for our ecosystem. So take ISO. So in ISO, when you have a richer data format, that’s the key thing, is you’re going to have richer data. Where you have richer data, you have amazing more use cases for AI. So whether that’s fraud, if you have better data, you can use AI to run more robust fraud models to catch the bad actors and improve the ecosystem for all, whether that’s marketing use cases. So say you see in the data a lot of trends around university payments. You can provide better solutions to your customers around, oh, this is a better route for the university payment. So that richer data and adding the AI analytics onto it is really going to up level the experience, not just for consumers, but for corporates and the entire scope community.

(01:07):
But I think the main thing though, which is the topic of the day, the topic of SIBOS is doing it in a safe, resilient, human first principled way. So innovation is important, but safe innovation is our top priority.
