‘Breaking Bad’ Star Aaron Paul Sells Historic L.A. Home for $7.5 Million
“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul has finally found a buyer for his historic Los Angeles home, selling the storied property for $7.495 million more than a year after putting it on the market.
The 47-year-old actor initially listed the residence, known as the Seyler House, for just shy of $10 million in July 2025.
After failing to secure a buyer at that price, Paul lowered his expectations, eventually reducing the asking price to around $8.2 million in January.
The property ultimately changed hands for $7.495 million on Oct. 6, according to property records.
Situated just below Griffith Park, the sprawling estate encompasses 4,026 square feet of living space and sits on more than an acre.
The residence boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with an impressive collection of outdoor amenities designed to take advantage of the Southern California climate.
The grounds feature a swimming pool and cold plunge, as well as a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, and a koi pond.
There is also a garden dining patio and an amphitheater tucked into the lush property. The home comes with plenty of Hollywood history, having housed a string of famous residents over the years.
Before Paul called the property home, stars including Robert Pattinson, Jim Parsons, Noah Wyle, Tim Curry, cinematographer Robert Richardson, and NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had all reportedly lived at the estate.
Paul’s decision to sell came amid a major lifestyle change for the actor and his family.
The Emmy winner and his wife, Lauren Parsekian, relocated their family to Paris after the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in early 2025.
With the move taking the family thousands of miles away from their longtime California base, Paul ultimately opted to part ways with the historic residence.
Although the final sale price came in well below Paul’s original nearly $10 million asking price, the transaction officially closes the chapter on the actor’s ownership of one of Los Angeles’ most storied celebrity homes.
Paul, his wife Lauren, their daughter Story Annabelle, and their son, Ryden Caspain, relocated from Los Angeles to Paris in 2025, following the devastating California wildfires.
Following their move, Paul told the Daily Mail, “When the fires happened in LA, we just knew that we were done with LA, so we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris.”
Discussing his move abroad, he said, “Paris is awesome,” adding that he can only say a couple words in French, including “bonjour.”
The actor noted that he wanted his children to experience life abroad, adding that he had always wanted to make the move.
“We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture,” he told the outlet.
