If last month’s largest retail leases in NYC are any indication, the five boroughs are getting some exciting new places to shop for your wardrobe. The list of the largest leases includes appearances from Burlington, buzzy grocery Happier Grocery and several other reputable apparel makers.

1) Burlington Stores | 25 Navy Street | Fort Greene | 31,700 sf
The retailer signed a new 10-year lease with an option to renew in the vacant, two-story building. Cliff Simon of CNS Real Estate represented the tenant, while Jason Pennington and Ben Weiner of Ripco Real Estate represented the landlord, Steiner NYC.
2) Happier Grocery | 210 East 86th Street | Yorkville | 20,500 sf
The mysterious high-end grocery retailer inked a new lease in the former movie theater, making for its second location within NYC. Brian Segall and Michael Cohen of Newmark represented the tenant, while Christian Stanton and Libby Hodes of Avison Young represented the landlord, CSC Real Estate, alongside Max Swerdloff of Brand Urban.
3) Harbor Fitness | 3460 Nostrand Avenue | Sheepshead Bay | 20,000 sf
The gym inked a new 25-year lease in the Sheepshead Bay building. Josh Augenbaum of Augenbaum Realty represented both the tenant and the landlord, GAAMA Partners.
4) Century Cricket Centre | 25 West 39th Street | Garment District | 14,000 sf
As part of a plan to make a broad push into the American market, the cricket training facility inked a new 15-year lease in the Garment District building. Josh Lebowitz and Brad Schwarz of Lee & Associates NYC represented the tenant, while Thomas Capuano of Okada & Company represented the landlord, Thor Equities.
5) Café Hestia | 570 Lexington Avenue | Plaza District | 8,000 sf
The restaurant signed a new 20-year lease in the Plaza District building, securing its fourth location within Manhattan. Albert Manopla and Jack Khaski of Kassin Sabbagh Realty represented the tenant, while Jordan Goldblum and Randall Briskin of the Feil Organization represented the landlord in-house.
6) Esti’s | 2263 Nostrand Avenue | East Flatbush | 7,800 sf
The women’s clothing store inked a new 10-year lease in the East Flatbush building. Solomon Betesh, Jonathan Lib and Avi Akiva of Momentum Realty Group represented the tenant, while Eddie Mamiye, Meyer Dagmy and Isaac Bijou of MOD Commercial Realty represented the landlord, CAVU Property Group.
7) MCU Bank | 162-15 Jamaica Avenue | Jamaica | 6,000 sf
The bank inked a new 15-year lease in the Jamaica building. Jordan Kaplan of CBRE represented the tenant, while Josh Augenbaum and Murray Mizrachi of Augenbaum Realty represented the landlords, Jamaica R MMM LLC and Jamaica W MMM LLC.
8) Bijin Omakase | 27-19 Thomson Avenue | Long Island City | 5,100 sf
The hibachi restaurant inked a new 15-year lease in the Long Island City building. Eli Gold and Michael Shkreli of RTL represented the tenant, while Thomas Galo and Matthew Knispel of RTL represented the landlord, ZD Jasper Realty.
9) JW Anderson | 138 Wooster Street | Soho | 4,500 sf
The apparel maker inked a new lease in the Soho building. Jonathan Schley, Gabriel Staab and Pierce Thompson of Newmark represented the tenant, while Jake Bank and Jared Epstein of Aurora Capital Associates represented the landlord in-house.
