Gold Rates Today Fall Up Rs 3,000; Check 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Prices At Tanishq, IBJA, Joyalukkas, Malabar, Kalyan

Gold rates today witnessed a significant drop due to rising dollar and treasury yields on Thursday. Also, the investors’ fear of a rate hike from the upcoming monetary policy of the RBI next week has added to the woes. Notably, gold is also entering the festive season, and the outlook is firm across 24-carat, 22-carat, and 18-carat.

“”Gold is entering the festive season near record levels, with 24-carat gold trading around INR 1.48 lakh per 10 grams after a brief correction and a renewed uptick. The price outlook stays firm. Safe-haven buying amid geopolitical tension, sticky inflation and steady central bank purchases continue to support the metal, even as the Fed’s recent hike and a stronger dollar may cap sharp gains,” Rajeev Sharan, Head of Research, Brickwork Ratings.

Demand dynamics, however, are becoming more nuanced. Sharan added that gold prices have risen significantly from levels of around INR 1.1 lakh per 10 grams a year ago. Festive and wedding buying, from Dussehra, Dhanteras and Diwali through the winter weddings, should keep demand healthy in value terms. That said, the record prices may moderate jewelry volumes, with many buyers opting for lighter pieces or leaning towards coins and digital gold.

Overall, the analyst is expecting firm but range-bound prices through the festive months, supported by seasonal buying, though any further sharp rise could dampen volumes.

Tanishq Gold Rates Today

22-carat gold rate dipped by Rs 30 to Rs 13,725 per 1 gram, plunged Rs 240 to Rs 1,09,800 per 8 grams, dropped by Rs 300 to Rs 1,37,250 per 10 grams and slipped by Rs 3,000 to Rs 1,372,500 per 100 grams.

Also, 24-carat gold price dropped to Rs 1,49,730 per 10 grams and is down to Rs 14,973 per 1 gram. In case of 18-carat, 1 gram and 10 grams gold rates are at Rs 11,230 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,12,300 per 10 grams.

IBJA Gold Rates Today

At IBJA, the 999 purity gold stood at Rs 14,869 per 1 gram, while the 995 purity and 916 purity gold rates are at Rs 14,809 and Rs 13,620 respectively. Also, the 750 purity gold is priced at Rs 11,152 per 1 gram and the 585 purity gold is at Rs 8,698.

Malabar Gold Rates Today

On Thursday, 22-carat gold prices are at Rs 13,680 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,36,800 per 10 grams. Additionally, 24-carat gold price is at Rs 14,924 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,49,240 per 10 grams.

Kalyan Jewellers Gold Rates Today

Here, 22-carat gold prices are at Rs 14,240 per 1 gram and at Rs 1,42,400 per 10 grams.

Joyalukkas Gold Rates Today

At retail stores of Joyalukkas, 1 gram and 10 grams gold rates are at Rs 13,680 and Rs 1,36,800. These rates are applicable in states like Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
