How to Claim Kerala Lottery Prize Money

After winning the Kerala lottery, winners of prizes up to Rs. 5,000 can claim their winnings from any authorized Kerala lottery retailer. For prizes above Rs. 5,000, winners must submit the original winning ticket along with valid identity proof to a designated bank or the Government Lottery Office for verification and payment.

As per the rules, 30% tax is deducted from the prize amount, while 12% is deducted as the agent’s commission, wherever applicable.

Lottery participants can also verify the authenticity of their tickets using the Kerala Lottery Barcode Scanner, a verification feature introduced by the Kerala Lotteries Department.
