Prediction: Here’s What a $10,000 Investment in Dutch Bros Stock Could be Worth By 2029
Dutch Bros (BROS -1.61%) is expanding quickly and picking up loyal fans all over the country. Still, it’s relatively small as national restaurant chains go, with only 1,225 stores in 25 states.
The coffee shop chain is planning to change that, though, and management has a long-term growth objective to reach more than 7,000 stores over an unspecified time frame. It did specify a goal to reach 2,029 stores by 2029. That would nearly double its current count in roughly three years.

New stores, more revenue
Each store brings in a significant amount of money that grows over time through same-shop sales increases. CEO Christine Barone noted that the 2026 second quarter was the 13th consecutive quarter of same-shop sales growth and the eighth of same-shop transaction growth.
The simple math is that as store count doubles, so does revenue. Adding on same-shop annual increases would make that revenue estimate even higher. Average unit volume continues to increase as well, reaching $2.2 million in the second quarter. Trailing 12-month revenue for the company right now is $1.9 billion, so you can make a reasonable assumption that it could be around $4 billion at that time.

At the current price, Dutch Bros stock trades at 2.6 times trailing 12-month sales, which is attractive for a company that reported a 32% year-over-year sales increase in the second quarter.
If it hits its target by 2029 and keeps that ratio, the market cap would reach $10.4 billion, or about double today’s price, meaning your $10,000 investment would be worth about $20,000.
Will Dutch Bros actually hit its target? That will require a closer look at the company and its ability to perform. It would seem to be a reasonable target to hit for the short term.
