Risk Benchmarking: Those reporting no breaches run skinnier appetite frameworks, despite similar governance mechanisms

Four in five banks responding to Risk.net’s latest Enterprise Risk Benchmarking exercise report having breached their risk appetite thresholds at least once in the past 12 months. Of 31 banks answering the question, 81%, reported incurring at least one breach.
