Family BS reintroduces BTL rates with 60bps rate hike
Family Building Society has relaunched products that were temporarily withdrawn on 4 September.
The mutual has brought back its range of fixed rate products across the owner-occupier and buy-to-let (BTL) ranges.
Family Building Society said in light of swap rate volatility, the mutual has increased these rates by 60 basis points (bps).
Darren Deacon, head of intermediary sales, commented: “Market conditions remain challenging for borrowers and brokers alike, particularly against the backdrop of ongoing events in the Middle East.
“However, people still need to move or remortgage, and brokers need lenders that can provide flexibility and a pragmatic approach to more complex cases. Our refreshed fixed rate range gives intermediaries more options for borrowers who need the certainty of a fixed rate solution.”
