IPO Next Week (Sept 14-18): NSE, SS Retail, Hero Motors IPO in Focus; Check Price Band, GMP, Dates & More

Next week, three major public issues are scheduled to open for subscription between September 16 and September 17. The biggest name among them is the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), whose highly awaited IPO is finally going to hit the primary market after years of anticipation.

Alongside the NSE IPO, SS Retail and Hero Motors will also open their IPOs next week, giving investors three fresh issues to track.

NSE IPO: India’s Biggest Public Issue Opens September 17

The NSE IPO is undoubtedly the most anticipated public issue of the week and one of the biggest IPOs to hit the Indian market. The issue is a book-built IPO worth Rs. 22,561.57 crore. The NSE issue consists entirely of an Offer for Sale (OFS) and is not including any fresh issue to raise capital.

The NSE IPO will open for subscription on September 17th, and close on September 21st. The allotment is expected to be finalised on September 22, while the shares are tentatively scheduled to make their stock-market debut on September 24th listing on BSE.

The price band has been fixed at Rs. 1,700 to Rs. 1,785 per share, while the lot size is 8 shares. At the upper price band, retail investors will need a minimum investment of Rs. 14,280.

The NSE IPO was commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of Rs 208 as of today and the estimated listing price comes to around Rs. 1,993 per share with a potential listing gain of approximately 11.65%.

SS Retail IPO

The second IPO opening next week is SS Retail, a mobile phone and electronics retail chain. The company is looking to raise Rs. 500 crore through a combination of a fresh issue and an Offer for Sale. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of 85.08 lakh shares worth Rs. 360 crore and an OFS of 33.02 lakh shares worth Rs. 140 crore.

The SS Retail IPO will open for subscription on September 16th and close on September 18th The allotment is expected to be completed on September 21, while the shares are likely to list on both the NSE and BSE on September 23rd.

The price band has been set at Rs. 403 to Rs. 424 per share, with a lot size of 35 shares. This means a retail investor needs a minimum investment of Rs. 14,840 to apply at the upper price band.

The SS Retail IPO was trading at a GMP of Rs. 106 as of September 12

Hero Motors IPO

The third IPO investors will track next week is Hero Motors, an established company operating in the auto components and mobility space. The company is looking to raise Rs. 1,000 crore through its public issue.

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of 7.14 crore shares worth Rs. 600 crore and an Offer for Sale of 4.76 crore shares worth Rs. 400 crore.

The Hero Motors IPO will open on September 16, and close on September 18th The allotment is expected on September 21, while the shares are tentatively scheduled to list on both the NSE and BSE on September 23.

The price band has been fixed at Rs. 79 to Rs. 84 per share, while the lot size is 178 shares. At the upper price band, the minimum investment for a retail applicant will be Rs. 14,952.

The Hero Motors IPO had a GMP of Rs. 24 as of September 12 and the current GMP indicates an estimated listing price of approximately Rs. 108 per share with a listing gain of around 28.57% over the upper end of the IPO price band.
