A message to our readers: clarifying the 2026 CMP Top 75 eligibility process

CMP‘s Top 75 Brokers is one of our flagship special reports, and we take seriously the feedback we have received regarding this year’s eligibility criteria.
For the 2026 ranking, we introduced a new verification step requiring applicants to provide a bank contact to support their submitted figures. The criteria for what constituted a valid verifying contact were not communicated clearly enough, and as a result, some applicants who would otherwise have qualified were excluded. That is an outcome we regret.
