Caplin Launches Hosted White-Label Digital Asset Solution for Institutional Trading Desks | LeapRate
Caplin Systems, a provider of web trading solutions for institutional capital markets, said Thursday that it has launched a hosted, end-to-end white-label digital asset solution aimed at institutional trading desks.
The offering is designed for OTC desks, brokers, traditional finance firms and crypto market makers, providing a native trading environment that combines FX and digital assets within a single interface.
According to Caplin, many sell-side desks still rely on fragmented manual processes, including quoting through chat and tracking exposure on spreadsheets.
Firms that attempt to address this through proprietary builds or AI-assisted development often face long deployment timelines, ongoing maintenance and security concerns.
Caplin says its hosted solution can cut development timelines by up to 80 percent, allowing desks to go live in as little as 12 weeks, while avoiding the technical debt and overhead associated with bespoke infrastructure.
The platform is said to target three segments. OTC desks and brokerages can automate execution to expand capacity without adding headcount. Traditional finance firms gain trade-level audit trails and data lineage to support entry into digital assets. Crypto market makers get a distribution layer for deploying portals and capturing market share.
Steven Singh, Head of Product at Caplin, said client distribution technology has struggled to keep pace with the digital asset market, adding that the new solution extends the company’s 26 years of institutional FX experience into a complete hosted infrastructure.
