- Shopline, a commerce platform, has agreed to integrate card-linked installment payments capability from Splitit.
- Finzly, a money-movement platform operating on ACH and real-time rails, has launched Assure, a service intended to protect banks against attacks by rogue AI agents. The new service is part of Finzly’s Agentic Galaxy set of AI technologies.
- Nasdaq Verafin, a provider of anti-fraud technology, said it will work with identity and fraud-prevention service Alloy to integrate fraud-risk signals across the two platforms in an effort to mitigate threats. Nasdaq Verafin last week announced a partnership with Q6 Cyber to offer a service to banks intended to identify and respond to scams on the dark Web.
- Point-of-sale fintech Lifelong will work with the processor Electronic Payments Inc. to offer payment processing and business-management services to kava bars across the country. There are an estimated 400 to 700 kava bars in operation in the U.S. Kava is a non-alcoholic drink derived from the root of a shrub native to the Pacific Islands.
- Restaurant-technology provider Chowbus said it will work with Maple, a voice AI developer serving the same market, to enable multilingual voice AI ordering at Chowbus client restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. Maple, founded in 2023, says it serves more than 1,000 merchants. Ten-year-old Chowbus says it processes more than $4 billion annually in transaction volume.
- Payward, a trading and payments platform, will use SoFi Technologies Inc.’s Big Business Banking services and join the SoFi Exchange Network, a real-time settlement network, in a move that will allow institutional clients to clear and settle U.S. dollar transactions 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
- Consumer payments app OnePay has launched My Garage, a feature that offers data on vehicle value, loan-payoff timeline, insurance, and gas rewards. Existing services on the app include Mastercard-branded debit and credit cards and cryptocurrency.
