CME Group is going ahead with its plans to compete directly with the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation in US Treasury clearing. The clearing house is coming to the market with a cross-margin arrangement that will produce margin offsets between futures, cash and repo trades within CME, providing an alternative to its existing offset programme with FICC.
