Silver prices in India declined today, September 1, 2026. The price of silver stands at Rs 250 per gram, down by Rs 5 from Rs 255 in the previous session. The rate for 100 grams of silver stands at Rs 25,000, down by Rs 500 compared with yesterday. At the 1-kilogram level, silver is priced at Rs 2,50,000, registering a sharp decline of Rs 5,000 from Rs 2,55,000 in the previous session.
“Geopolitical tensions around the Strait of Hormuz eased slightly, softening oil prices. ETF inflows rebounded and central banks kept buying, though Indian retail demand stayed cautious ahead of a data-heavy week culminating in Friday’s payrolls report. Buy on dips should be the strategy used for this week,” Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA.
