Compagnie Financière Tradition Reports Double-Digit Revenue Growth in H1 2026 | LeapRate

Compagnie Financiere Tradition SA has reported strong first-half 2026 results, with consolidated revenue, including its share of joint ventures, rising 10.4% at constant exchange rates to CHF 646.2 million, up from CHF 632.1 million in the same period last year. On a reported basis, revenue increased 2.2%, with the appreciation of the Swiss franc against the US dollar and Japanese yen weighing on figures translated into Swiss francs.

The interdealer broking business grew 10.4% at constant exchange rates to CHF 623.3 million, while the retail-focused Non-IDB business in Japan rose 8.9% to CHF 22.9 million. The Group’s data and analytics division also posted double-digit growth over the period.

Operating profit before depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), including joint ventures, climbed 13.8% at constant exchange rates to CHF 120.1 million, lifting the EBITDA margin to 18.6% from 18.1% a year earlier.

Net profit attributable to shareholders increased 22.5% at constant exchange rates to CHF 79.1 million, compared with CHF 70.2 million in H1 2025, helped by a stronger contribution from associates and joint ventures, including the integration of Money Partners Group by Gaitame. Basic earnings per share rose to CHF 10.43 from CHF 9.14.

The Group’s balance sheet remained solid, with equity of CHF 514.4 million and net cash of CHF 265.8 million as at 30 June 2026. Looking ahead, Tradition said it would continue prioritizing organic growth, front-office recruitment, and investment in digitalisation, data, and artificial intelligence capabilities.
