Textile Stocks To Buy: Sustained outperformance in the upcoming quarter, gradual margin recovery and higher order execution are likely to benefit textile sector stocks in the coming quarters. Companies like Gokaldas Exports, Arvind Limited, and Indo Count Industries are likely to perform well in the coming quarter, according to a Motilal Oswal report.

Gokaldas Exports share price opened marginally flat and was trading 0.03% higher at Rs 798.65 per share at 9:30 am. Arvind Limited share price was trading 0.52% lower at Rs 534.05 per share; Indo Count Industries share price was trading 0.81% higher at Rs 434.3 per share.

Textile Stocks Outlook

Textile sector companies outperformed the broader market in the June quarter as it delivered 18% annual growth, supported by a favourable low base and higher order execution, highlighted Motilal Oswal, adding that cotton prices, government export incentives, freight and fuel costs will remain key monitorables.

“Historically, the textile sector has traded at a 10-year mean of 24x P/E and 14x EV/EBITDA (our coverage universe), with topline, EBITDA, and PAT growing just 6%, 4%, and 3% respectively over the last decade. Given improved visibility, we expect our coverage to grow 14%, 27%, and 38% respectively over FY26-28,” stated the brokerage in its report.

Top Textile Stocks To Buy

Motilal Oswal has named Gokaldas Export, Arvind Limited and Indo Count as top picks. “We have therefore assigned a 7-10% premium to the mean EV/EBITDA & P/E multiple. We prefer Gokaldas Export, and Arvind, from the apparel space, and Indo Count Industries from the HT space.”

Arvind Share Price Target

Arvind Limited share price was trading higher during Tuesday’s trading session. Motilal Oswal gave a ‘Buy’ rating with a target price of Rs 670 per share, indicating a 26% upside in their valuation. “

Gokaldas Export Share Price Target

The textile stock closed at Rs 796.65 per share on Monday, August 24. Motilal Oswal gave a ‘Buy’ rating with a target price of Rs 1,110, indicating a 26% upside in its valuation.

Indo Count Industries Share Price Target

Indo Count Industries stock closed Rs 430.80 per share on BSE on Monday. Motilal Oswal gave a ‘Buy’ rating with a target price of Rs 550 per share, indicating a 28% upside in its valuation.
