Stocks To Watch Today, August 21: SBI, RailTel, Mankind Pharma Manipal Hospital, Torrent Power & More In Focus

The market this morning is expected to open higher for the second consecutive day, as the GIFT Nifty is signalling a positive start. At the time of writing, Nifty futures are trading at 24,331, up by 0.11%.
On Thursday, the market rebounded sharply with the Nifty 50 surging 0.64% to settle at 24,231.85 and the Sensex added 0.82% to close at 77,537.72.

The US market, however, saw some weakness with its benchmark indices ending in the red. The DJIA and the S&P 500 settled 1.32% and 0.87%, respectively. The Nasdaq Composite also ended 1% lower.
Asian markets were also trading in a mixed manner this morning after a decline in the US market

Railtel Corporation
RailTel Corporation of India shares are expected to be in focus today after the company announced yesterday that it has received an order from Western Coalfield, which is worth Rs. 164.79 crore,
SBI
The State Bank of India shares are also going to be in focus since the bank will charge Rs. 15 along with GST for every cash withdrawal after four transactions a month from its Basic Savings Bank Deposit accounts from October 1st this year.
Manipal Hospitals
The hospital chain will be under investors’ radar after the company reported its Q1 Fy27 results yesterday. The firm’s revenue from operations stood at Rs. 3,091 crore in the June quarter, rising by 38.1% YoY.
Saatvik Green Energy
The stock will be in focus as its subsidiary Saatvik Solar Industries Pvt Ltd has received an order which is worth Rs. 190 crore for the supply of Solar PV Modules.
Torrent Power
The stock will be in focus as the company’s CFO, Saurabh Mashruwala, announced his retirement on Thursday, and the board has declared Vikas Poddar as the new Chief Financial Officer and Whole-Time Key Managerial Personnel and Senior Management Personnel of the company, effective August 21.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors shares are going to be in focus as the company has signed an initial agreement with EV leasing platform Driven to explore leasing electric commercial vehicles for fleet operators.
Mankind Pharma
The stock will be in focus today after the company signed an exclusive agreement with China-based Choning Chenan Biopharmaceutical Co Ltd to market two insulin products in India for the treatment of diabetes.
