Callum Turner Reveals He Wants To ‘Have a Family’ With Wife Dua Lipa
British actor Callum Turner has revealed that he is ready to embrace family life with his new wife, Dua Lipa, admitting that he is already looking forward to raising children together in their London home.
Turner, 36, who tied the knot with Lipa, 30, in May, shared some candid insight into his hopes for the future of his marriage during a new interview with Esquire, when he was asked about his 10-year goals, both personally and professionally.
While the “One Night Only” star was quick to share that he’s happy to take on “more of the same” as far as work is concerned, he conceded that he has one significant ambition for his home life: “family.”
“Obviously [it’s a priority],” he said. “I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids.”
Despite admitting that children are a major focus for him over the next few years, Turner isn’t letting marriage slow his work life down. In fact, he’s brought Lipa along with him for his latest project—a remake of the 1981 thriller “Possession,” which he is shooting in New York.
According to Esquire, the newlyweds have temporarily relocated to the Big Apple, where they will live while Turner films the movie, which also stars Margaret Qualley.
It’s unclear whether the couple have purchased a property in the city, or whether they will rent an apartment before heading back to the U.K., where Lipa owns a sprawling London property that she has been busy renovating for the past few years.
The pop sensation purchased that home for $9.5 million in 2020 and filed plans for the renovation soon after. However, work did not commence until 2024.
Reports suggest that this dwelling will serve as the couple’s permanent base once it is completed, with planning documents seen by The Mirror indicating that work is expected to finish in summer 2027.
In the meantime, the singer is said to have purchased two other properties in the British capital: a $1.4 million apartment near Leicester Square and another $1.4 million unit in North London, which is located next to a property she already owned, according to The Sun.
Lipa purchased her first home, which is also in London, in 2017, when she was just 22.
The singer also holds the keys to a sprawling property in Saranda, Albania, which she picked up in 2022. Page Six reported at the time that she was building a “multimillion-dollar mansion” on her waterfront parcel in the country.
Meanwhile, Turner holds the keys to two properties, in Portugal and Spain.
Much like Turner, Lipa has made no secret of her desire to start a family. However, she admitted to British Vogue in June 2025 that she was unsure what it might look like fitting it around her busy work schedule.
“I would love to have kids one day. It’s like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time—how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour,” she said. “I think it’s just one of those things that’s going to happen when it happens.”
That rigorous work ethic is one of the things that first attracted Turner to Lipa. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter in June of this year that he loves how much Lipa inspired his own career.
“You want to be inspired by the person you’re with,” he said.
Turner also lifted the lid on how they keep the spark in their relationship alive, despite both juggling busy schedules.
“We make sure that we’re together as much as possible,” he said.
Turner and Lipa got married at a stunning ceremony at a London town hall on May 31. They followed that intimate gathering with a large celebration in Sicily.
The couple began dating in January 2024, with Lipa confirming their relationship on Instagram later that year.
In June 2025, the singer revealed that they were engaged as she waxed lyrical about the new piece of jewelry she was sporting.
“Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting,” Lipa revealed to British Vogue.
“I’m obsessed with it,” she said of her ring. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
Lipa previously revealed that she and Turner first met while they were separately visiting The River Cafe in London, where they bonded over the fact that they were reading the same book.
“There’s a lot of ‘Sliding Doors’ moments. We have so many friends in common,” Lipa said.
