Gold Rate Today Falls After Two-Day Gain; Silver Price Slips After 4 Days of Stability
Silver prices also slipped today after remaining steady for the past four days. Silver is priced at Rs 245 per gram and Rs 2,45,000 per kilogram in India.
The decline in precious metals comes amid weakness in global markets. Spot gold and silver prices were sharply lower in late-afternoon US trading on Tuesday as elevated global bond yields and a renewed selloff in AI-linked equities outweighed support from a softer US dollar and continued risks surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

Gold, Silver Forecast; Will Gold & Silver Rise or Fall Ahead?
“Rate-hike odds flipped to a near-65% chance of a hold following weak jobs data, soft CPI, and lower retail sales, restoring gold’s safe-haven appeal against higher yields. Gold trades in the $4,340-$4,440 range, with a break above opening the way to $4,550-4,600; silver’s double top near $66.30 puts $64 support and $70-71 upside in focus,” said Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd.
