Arrow Adds Veteran Multifamily Lender Ari Mandelbaum to Grow Platform – Commercial Observer
Arrow Real Estate Advisors continues to ramp up its roster nearly two years after its founding.
The capital markets advisory firm founded by Morris Betesh in fall 2024 has added Ari Mandelbaum, a former lender at Greystone and Dwight Capital, as a director to help grow its multifamily debt placement business, Commercial Observer has learned.
“Ari brings a highly valuable perspective to Arrow given his extensive experience on the lender side of the business,” Betesh said in a statement. “His understanding of underwriting, credit and execution allows him to approach financing assignments from both sides of the table and provide clients with a deeper level of insight throughout the capital-raising process.”
Mandelbaum previously held senior roles at Greystone and Dwight Capital specializing in agency and bridge loans across multifamily and other property sectors. He was at Greystone from 2011 to 2014 before a decade-long run at Dwight, where he ascended to an executive vice president role.
At Arrow, Mandelbaum will focus heavily on negotiating multifamily loans while helping borrowers navigate alternative strategies. Among the multifamily deals he originated at Dwight was a $36 million bridge loan in 2023 for Latco Enterprises to refinance its Villa Annette Apartments property in Moreno Valley, Calif., CO first reported at the time.
“I’m excited to join Arrow and work alongside a team with a strong track record across the commercial real estate capital markets,” Mandelbaum said in a statement. “My experience on the credit side has given me a firsthand understanding of how transactions are evaluated, structured and executed, and I look forward to applying that perspective to help Arrow’s clients navigate increasingly structured financing environments.”
The addition of Mandelbaum comes on the heels of Arrow hiring Jeff Weinberg from Meridian Capital Group as a managing director, CO previously reported.
