MFB adds six apprentices to team
Mortgage Finance Brokers (MFB) has recruited six apprentices to its firm through its academy programme.
This includes two trainee mortgage advisers undertaking the Mortgage Adviser Apprenticeship (Level 3), one paraplanner apprentice undertaking the Mortgage Adviser Apprenticeship (Level 3) and three client relationship managers taking on the Financial Services Administrator Apprenticeship (Level 3).
MFB said the appointments demonstrated its commitment to nurturing future talent and its long-term strategy to develop careers.
The firm said this also reflected its vision to be “the mortgage brokerage that our clients love working with, and our employees love working for” by offering accessible routes into the profession and providing apprentices with qualifications, experience and mentoring.
Its academy is in Kings Hill, West Malling, and recruits in the local area to provide opportunities for recent A Level and college leavers.
Francesca, who joined MFB from university, said: “What interested me about this role was the opportunity to build on the mortgage knowledge I first developed while studying the Level 3 Diploma in Financial Studies. Although I started university, I chose to pursue this apprenticeship because I realised I learn best through hands-on experience where I can apply what I’m studying for my CeMAP qualifications directly to my day-to-day work.
“I’ve really enjoyed developing my knowledge and skills whilst working alongside experienced brokers, and my future aspiration is to complete my CeMAP qualifications and become a buy-to-let mortgage broker.”
Izabel, a client relationship manager who joined in February, said: “I was interested in this role because it was an opportunity to learn and achieve a qualification (CeMAP1) and use the knowledge I’m gaining in a practical setting.
“What I enjoy most about this role is a chance to apply my learning, gain all the CeMAP qualifications, and become a mortgage broker.”
Gavin Richardson, managing director of MFB, said: “The recruitment of these six new apprentices reflects MFB’s confidence in its future, its commitment to investing in people and its determination to create opportunities for the next generation.
“By aligning business growth with education, skills development and social responsibility, MFB continues to demonstrate that commercial success and community impact can go hand in hand.”
He added: “For MFB, this is more than a recruitment drive. It is a statement of intent – investing in people, creating careers and building the future of the mortgage profession, one apprentice at a time.”
